Reclaimed Tropical Hardwood

All the lumber for our flooring comes from the tropics. The original use of the wood is for shoring steel beams that are shipped from Japan to the US. The wood from the boat measures 4 x 4 and has a stamp on the end that verifies the density for the original use. This lumber is extremely hard; we re-saw, stack and dry to the point that the moisture content is suitable for milling. It is then milled and processed into flooring. As it runs through the mill we categorized the different colors. There are three colors to choose from. The finished product measures 3/4 x 3-1/2. There is a very limited supply of this product.
